September 30, 2018 - Good but lacking a distinctive CB nose, ok on the palate, a bit soft lower acid for this wine. Not that impressed tonight. Actually my previous notes are spot on but I didn't car for this quite as much this time. EWG at GCC

October 3, 2015 - Rum, baking spice, apples, golden syrup, tinned peaches. Light in colour and body. Still fresh, with good acidity. I think this has plenty of potential for further ageing.

February 19, 2015 - Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2015-02; France: Loire white wines. (By AW): Honey, apricots and polishing wax in the bouquet. On the palate apple syrup. Good sweetness and acidity. The wine is quite mature. Overall it disappointed a bit for what I expected.

December 14, 2014 - 10 year retrospective: Delicious, light honey, camomile, mandarin, pineapple and white raisins medium sweet, medium body, good acid streak keeping it very boyant and fresh. Nice alternative to a heavier Sauterne, but not big enough to survive a lemon tart for dessert.

July 26, 2013 - There's a reason this was on closeout years ago for a veritable song -- it's not a great expression of the bottling. That being said, it's an entirely quaffable dessert wine (its best use, IMO) that has just enough acidic backbone to raise it above just about every other wine at its $20 price point. To dislike it is to be disagreeable. Not really sweet, but certainly off off dry. Light and airy.
