August 14, 2003 - Straw color. Soft, mineral nose. Hints of talc, honey and lemon. Touch of smoky oak. Wonderful soft, lucious mouthfeel. Taste of cookie dough, butter, candied lemons, minerals, . Tremendous chardonnay varietal character. Wonderful balance with a long finish. Despite the soft palate, the wine never tastes fat. It also never lets the strong acid take more than a secondary role.
