    August 10, 2022 - En aroma frutos negros y especias y huevo duro .

Descorchalo pronto.

🇧🇷🇵🇹 Boa experiência com RQP adequada. Nota 3.75.

January 11, 2021 - Drinking well - still has a slightly astringent edge that will probably soften over the next year.

July 26, 2020 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, red currant, stoniness, forest floor, oak and tobacco. It tastes like red currant, mineral and stoniness. The body is medium. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

July 25, 2020 - Wonderful herbal nose, feel Ruby red, and robust, sour cherry taste, leather, with great structure, and long finish. Excellent dinner wine, really great quality for the price

    From winemaker
    Description
Grenache and Carignan have long been cultivated in Southern France and represent the “forefathers” of the Languedoc Appellation’s red wines. An homage showcasing these varietals, this wine was subsequently labeled “Les Darons”, the affectionate expression for “The Parents” in the Parisian suburbs where winemaker Jeff Carrel was born.

Tasting Notes: An accessible wine with loads of character, “Les Darons” is packed with ripe, red and dark fruit aromas, with plenty of spice and a streak of underlying minerality.

Serve With: Enjoy this classic, unoaked red with a wide range of everyday meals.

June 8, 2020 - Good wine for the price ($10-$15).

Full bodied, big and fruity, no oak. Agree with the note which said sour raspberry.

May 13, 2020 - Biggish red. Very well put together. Drinks well now but has some space for a little improvement. Very good QPR.

May 4, 2020 - Fresh and fruity, medium to full-bodied with sweet and sour raspberries. Reminds me of a Cote du Rhône. Balanced with a lengthy finish. QPR good.
