December 21, 2022 - Similar to better cabs and blends we've had. Fruit forward, low tannins. T said just ok.

May 29, 2021 - Dark fruit, briars, smoke, and licorice on the nose. Smooth, round, and medium bodied, with blackberry flavors and peach skin action on the back end. Always dependable.
November 2, 2020 - Dark color, almost purple; nose of dark fruit (blackberry and stewed plums); on the palate it's almost sweet with lots of ripe blackberry and some cranberry; finishes with some dried/toasted oak. Moderate acid and smooth tannins. Wouldn't hold much longer as it's probably as good as it's going to get right now.
June 21, 2020 - Very balanced cab, lovely fruit, smooth integrated tannins, very enjoyable.
May 29, 2020 - $18 Sonoma Calif. Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Simi Alexander Valley. Similar to previous note. Mid-dark garnet; berries, mint, varietal nose; mid-body; balanced; good Cab fruit; wood, smoke, some style for the $. w/beef. 16 UC Davis scale, 90 other scales.
May 9, 2020 - Starts out as if over oaked, very smoky. I almost said forget it. Needs a full 2 hours to breathe after which it was very nice with black currants and cherry /medium tannins.
March 6, 2020 - Deep nice color and nice bouquet. Lots of fruit which I enjoy. Good bottle of cab.
February 29, 2020 - After having a Pinot Noir there really is a huge difference. If I had to have another bottle of this I’d have a nice big steak. A beautiful color and a deep red with a hint of dark chocolate nosing. Good stuff. Plums, blackberries are present.
For $15 great buy but for $20 I just assume try another.
