February 18, 2024 - beste flasken av denne, og den siste....

February 17, 2024 - Rather dark yellow. Aromas of citrus fruits, butter and vanilla. Some Chablis minerals after a while. Rich on the palate, with a bit woody finish. Better than earlier bottles. And the oak is more integrated than 8-10 years ago. Naturally.

    August 20, 2018 - Colour: Deep golden.
Nose: Honey, petroleum (like mature Rieslings), flower pollen, early autumn forest floor, beeswax, semolina pudding, hint of sea water. With air more of the marine elements come to the fore; fresh oysters, fresh sea water and a saline element. (87p)
Taste: The arrival is rich, buttery, with what appears to be the wood overshadowing other elements. Will give it some time to see if the wood blows off a bit. (85p)
Obviously quite a lot of new, rather well toasted oak has been used here, a bit too much I think. But the wine is still quite good (and most important: not premoxed!!). In the mouth it presents itself more as a central Burgundian than a Chablis, but not very successfully I think. I would have gone for less oak on this one. Total score 86 points.

June 5, 2016 - Again, dark yellow and rather oxidized. Aromas of hay, and some oak.
