May 21, 2022 - Claro, é leve, tem algum tanino, mas se caracteriza como gastronômico por não pesar e ter acidez que segura Álcool e tanino, limpando a boca. Aromas "vermelhos", tendo, de início "negros", como cassis. Alegre? Sutil, ao menos.
September 12, 2021 - Brancaia's 2016 Tre is a deep ruby blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. This particular bottle was uncorked, poured and serially tasted over the ensuing two hours. Almost immediately fully expressive, it delivers a vibrant package of dried cherry and cranberry fruit, accented with baking spices, cocoa and dried herbs. Medium-bodied, softly tannic, seamlessly alcoholic (14%) and with minimal wood, it is an easy-drinker throughout the solid mid-palate and medium-to-long finish. This well-priced crowd-pleaser should be at its best over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2024.
September 5, 2021 - Good basic wine. Some hints of musk in this bottle. Probably a sign not to wait too long with finishing up.
July 23, 2021 - I concur with everyone else: a quality table wine for the price. Simple and without any fatal flaws. At this price, it beats its American competition, which is why I bought it at beach grocery store instead of the soul crushing American alternatives.
June 11, 2021 - This Super Tuscan did not measure up. Not that it was bad, but it certainly made the "do not buy again list".
April 12, 2021 - Sangiovese dominant blend with sour cherry flavors and earthy elements. It was fine with our meal.
March 9, 2021 - Simple, easy drinking table wine.
February 7, 2021 - A basic wine but a well-crafted one. A hint of acidity that I’m not sure will recede over time, but pleasant enough to drink, in particular with a plate of pasta.
January 5, 2021 - Ditto to my 12/25 notes. Slight reduction on my score. Still loving it.
December 25, 2020 - One of the better tonight with a light bodied juice and balanced acidty. Modern, fruit driven and present upon opening. Worth finding just for its balance.
