January 16, 2024 - Beautiful and perfumed bouquet with sweet spices, red berries and well dosed oak. On the palate juicy red and dark berries, garrigue, vanilla, a touch of sweetness and ok acidity and slightly sticky tannin. Elegant wine in its early maturity stage.

April 2, 2023 - Oak, dark berries, smoke with nice texture. After 30 mins, shows great performance and stays strong quite a while. On second day, nose was a little weakened but fair. Solid tempranilo matured well enough.
January 17, 2023 - In the bouquet dark berries like blackberries and cherries and some pleasant oak. On the palate red and dark berries, sweet spices, chocolate, good acidity and tannin with a soft bite. Beautiful wine.

Mond: kers, pruim, fikse tannines, iets te weinig spanning.

You check how was the vintage in particular AOC and you think that's it, so you buy it. And you drink it...

Ok, what is in this red juice.
First - aromas. Spice, black pepper, cinnamon from beginning to the end. Second - red fruits are mixed between those flavors, mentioned above.
Long finish with those aromas mentioned above above.
Ok - we have surprise here!
Third glass is full of prune and smoke ( in smell)
and prune( in taste)
Very long finish now.
I'm upgrading this wine from 91 to 92
It's still not justified its price with my price/ quality experience
Aromas - ok, nice minerals, flowers, red cherry.

February 20, 2022 - Solid Rioja that has a nice subtle savory character to it. Not sure I would pick it out blind as Rioja however and was quite dark. Solid, but didn't quite have the fire works for my palette to justify the price. (especially when you can get amazing Rioja like Ardanza for around $35.)
February 4, 2022 - 14% Alk, 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 10% Graciano.
Sehr dichte Nase mit Kirsche in allen Farben (auch ganz dunkel), Blüten, Kräutern, Lavendel, Lakritze, Tabak. Am Gaumen satte Frucht, dabei aber total trocken und kein bisschen breit, kein schmeckbares Holz, perfekte Balance aus dezenter Säure, seidigem Tannin, mittlerem Körper mit dennoch mundauskleidender Fülle, Salzigkeit und langer Mineralität. Unglaublich dicht, fast drückend, sehr, sehr lang, sehr komplex. Moderner Rioja, mit dem traditionellen Stil von La Rioja Alta oder Tondonia hat das nichts zu tun. Ein Wein zum Nachdenken, auf ganz leise und elegante Weise groß. (96-97+)
