March 11, 2023 - Aromatic bouquet with yellow tropical fruits and some good oak. Same on the palate. Good acidity and length. Beautiful wine.

November 27, 2020 - Beautiful nose filled with yellow apple, pear, honey and vanilla. Well balanced. The best rioja blanco I have had the pleasure of tasting.
February 24, 2020 - Initially, lean with hints of ripe fruit. Then decanted and this opened right up and remained consistent for 3+ hours. Faint aromas of oyster shell. Otherwise, muted nose. Medium+ flavors composed of ripe stone fruits with decent acidity, keeping this fresh. Very well balanced. Moderate complexity/short-moderate finish. Seems like it will hold for years to come, but upside is not obvious.
January 30, 2020 - Rioja night at Perman Wine (Perman Wines, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose is fresh and expressive with nectarines, peaches, white flowers, green apples, saline, and crushed rocks. There is a lot of lift and balance to the nose but it lacks some depth.
Taste: The feel is Medium bodied with tart, medium+ acidity. The feel shows off more density than I expected along with excellent balance and tones of nectarines, peaches, white flowers, apples, and saline.
Overall: This has a lot of vibrancy and lift, but it lacks complexity and depth sadly. There is a lot of freshness to it and it feels like there isn't much of a reason to age it.
January 29, 2020 - Rich golden colour. Ripe pears with medium acidity. The relative warm year seems to have made the grapes more fruitful and less tart. A very good example of a classic white Rioja. Excellent wine although not necessarily a bargain
February 28, 2019 - Remelluri (Remelluri, Rioja): Very fragrant, peach and pear nose. Quite full. Some richness but also a touch of acidity towards the finish. Northern Rhône styled. Lots of stonefruit. Reasonably long. Not my style, but lots of wine here. ****
