December 30, 2023 - 2057 bottles produced. Decent fruit, perhaps a touch thin and not evidently any meaty character. 91

April 17, 2021 - 2057 bottles produced. Slightly dirty and oxidized. Barely any fruit left.

December 20, 2017 - Gina's Birthday Dinner (Kai Garden, Marina Square): Another nice wine. This also had a really nice nose, with dashes of earth and spice and green bramble drifting about polished wafts of blue fruit. There was a really juicy succulence on the palate, with orangey acidity running through crunchy red cherries, with fine tannins giving the wine a nice chew that carried the wine towards a long finish. Still a touch on the primary side, but beautifully fresh and very yummy, with tons of substance in its locker. This was a nice wine that wed both strength and elegance - I would love to try this again 10 years down the road.

December 20, 2016 - Quite flat and disappointing...even though treated with all the necessary care. Not much body, very short. Almost no tannins at all left. Wondering if it has gone over the edge?

June 19, 2011 - Burgundy & More in Williamsburg: Elegance in a glass. Beautiful perfumed nose of lilacs and red and black cherry fruit. Baby's bottom silkiness - red fruits and minerality for days, which are light on its feet all the way through. Classic Chambolle character and drinking very nicely right now! One of the best of the night, holding its own in tough competition

Burgundy-Report

(Ponsot Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes) Medium cherry-red. The nose is transparent, almost crystaline red fruit of some sweetness that takes about 1 hour from opening to crescendo. Good freshness, lovely intense mid-palate with mouthwatering acidity and a very good length. This has real balance to go with a good, slowly fading length. This was a quickly vanishing bottle.
