February 5, 2011 - Nice nose of spice and dark berries, flavors of dark cherry, plum, chooclate, and spice. Gripping tannins and strong fruit balance each other nicely. ($18)
February 4, 2011 - Black fruit jam, a little alcoholic. Better by itself than with food.
January 31, 2011 - Popped and poured. Dark fruit and a meatiness on the nose. Inky color. Brighter fruit on the palate with a finish that ends mid-palate.

November 18, 2008 - Bright ruby-garnett in the glass, with moderate sediment, a touch of brick on rim.
N: intense and alcoholic. Dark cherry pie, white pepper, poblanos, chocolate, bacon, plum, blueberry
M: Similar as nose, with strong back-end acid, clove and leather. Finish was very hot, whiskey like. Oak was moderately astringent.
