November 29, 2012 - Restaurantkøb i CPH.

July 20, 2012 - Old world style yummy... yes there is a nose to this wine that is different but not in a bad way as one might infere based upon prior reviews. This wine smells like nature... it has all the elements in there... dark fruit, we leather, damp soil... the mouth is full with fruit, spice and wood... finish is long and pleasing. Nothing to dislike here...

November 27, 2009 - As always, solid effort from Adam Tolmach. I was expecting more fruit, but very balanced. Dark red color, chewy, but very earthy with good tannin balance. Very nice wine, well made for the price.

November 13, 2009 - Very dark color. Nose is amazing and funky - grilled meat, garrigue, cedar smoke, earth, herbs, sea mist, blackberry and black cherry. Palate doesn't disappoint, with luscious dark fruits, spice and some minerality. Great balance of acidity, tannin & fruit and very good length.

April 10, 2009 - Great QPR compared to other Syrahs out there. Love the nose: earth, dark fruits, meaty. On the palate very big dark fruits with excellent balance and structure .. never veers to being over the top. This is the best bottle of the bunch I've had though.

March 17, 2009 - Delicious as always. A big fan of the Ojai Syrahs and as I always say, the SB bottling delivers amazing value. At this stage, this wine is medium-full bodied, chewy tannins, with lots of dark fruit intensity to it and framed with nice earty notes.

December 29, 2008 - Very dark. Awesome nose of violets, earth, and meat. Decanted for a couple of hours the wine opened a bit but lost some nose. Very nice on the front, tart dark fruits, great acid, good tannins. Nice long finish. Paired wonderfully with a slow cooked wine- braised lamb leg. Maybe not the best QPR but will buy one for the cellar.

November 30, 2008 - I really liked this style of syrah. Very funky on the nose with earth and minerality shinning trough. Acid is matched well to the fruit and paired well with a beef stew. Will buy more. Exceptional qpr.
