August 22, 2023 - Bought on release. holding up well for a wine that is on the "back nine," but certainly still showing enough meat and mature black fruit for its age. A little coarse on the finish.

August 9, 2021 - Last bottle and at its peak! Fabulous red and black berry fruit with cedar wood and spices with a long palate wrapped in rich fruit. Absolutely delicious and a bargain. Wow. 96+ for a £10/$14 wine en primeur.

February 19, 2021 - Still good but getting tired, ~87 points to start through the first hour+, then losing balance.

January 20, 2018 - Deep red, not really showing any development in the colour.

Nice red fruit aromas of cherries and hint of black olives and pepper

Surprisingly young in the mouth with ecpressive tannins, medium body and very good length

Will wait at least 2 years before I try the next bottle.

May 24, 2017 - Still surprisingly black when pouring. Fine sediment. Red rim beginning to dull, but nose deliciously spicy. Flavour dominates tannin. Medium weight, leather and fruit initially, tannic in the mouth but lingering berries and juice. Delicious and good value.
