January 23, 2024 - No formal note, but very tasty. Enough body to hold up to chicken pot pie.

January 19, 2024 - This was at its peak in my opinion, wonderful and rather complex wine for a Bourgogne. Will hold for many years.

December 31, 2023 - Again an underwhelming experience on an 18 PYCM Bourgogne blanc unfortunately. Don't know what it is, it misses power and persistence to impress. Feel like you have to really concentrate when drinking this to get al the nuances and finesse these wines are about. Too bad because all other wines of him where off the hook.

November 23, 2023 - Light clear yellow - still some faint sulfite aromas - straw and limestone and grapefruit - light - crisp.
Next day - reduction evaporated - golden delicious apples emerge - remains in light camp - will try to remember to decant next bottle for an hour or two.

November 5, 2023 - During the La Paulée in Zurich, so no detailed tasting notes. Fresh, flinty, outstanding for its level.

August 20, 2023 - Second look at this and it’s calmed somewhat, loosing the tropical notes and gaining more mineral line without showing excessive weight. Less rich than the 15. I’ll revisit in a year. ***

August 6, 2023 - not that great / not a rebuy... as I would gen'ly expect from 2018 white burgs... I think I'll try the 2019 next to see if PYCM can show him magic in that vintage ('17 and '19 being my favs from the last 6-8 years)

July 28, 2023 - Even better on day 2…. Nice nose of citrus, hint of grilled hazelnut, mineral, laser sharp, brioche finsh… taste is confit citrus, very mineral, very delicious for a simple Bourgogne of an average vintage!!

July 8, 2023 - Nose: Lots of lemon and toasty oak but held in check with superb mineral expression. I did not get the matchstick that others did but this has been cellared longer so perhaps that’s it. Palate: While giving less punch than what the nose would promise this does show wonderful balance with the minerals forefront followed by fresh lemons. My first PYCM wine and it did not disappoint. Fabulous! 91+ points.

April 7, 2023 - Matchstick reduction, orchard fruit.
Quite expansive orchard fruit texture. Citrus. Lots of lovely acidity.
Not complex but delicious and drinking very nicely.
