October 22, 2021 - Really nice. Pear aroma. Not at all oaky. Medium body, very smooth. Not super buttery. Mildly acidic. Short finish. Drank with salmon. Would go well with fish or chicken.

    January 16, 2021 - Gift from Hilde.

Easy drinking, creamy Chardonnay with light oak, minerals, yellow fruits and a somewhat sweetish finish. Reminded me of a dry German Kabinett. Well made and should drink well another 5 years at least.

    Ratings for 2018:
    Parker 92p
    Suckling 94p

September 6, 2019 - 1st of 2 bottles. Purchased in July at the winery and carried back home.
Aromas and flavors of red apple, almond paste, some citrusy-lemon, and a deft touch of oak.
Refreshing and quite gulpable, this Tuscan Chardonnay is worth a look.
    Drink now through 2023+.

June 28, 2019 - Visiting Rome and Tuscany; 6/18/2019-7/2/2019 (Lazio and Tuscany, Italy): Recently released, this straw-colored wine (100% Chardonnay) was aged for 11 months in used oak barriques and subsequently 8 months in bottle. Effusive of stone fruits, pears, lemon verbena and white flowers, it is a medium-bodied offering with crisp acidity, nicely integrated alcohol (13.5%) and appropriately proportioned oak. Nicely dense on the middle palate and medium in length on the back end, this is a well-balanced white that should be at its best over the next four years. Drink now-2023.
