June 22, 2014 - Excellent, firm forward structure gives personality to the chewy nature of the deep currant notes of this wine. Great balance through its med to long finish.

December 10, 2012 - Large scaled and fruit forward. A touch of herbaceousness on the finish reminds you that it's Cab Franc. Otherwise it could be easily mistaken for Syrah or Cabernet. A crowd pleasing wine.

March 4, 2012 - Well, this wine has aged gracefully and is drinking wonderfully right now. Such an amazing Cab Franc, the dry farming of this vineyard really brings the best out in this grape. Simply fantastic.

November 30, 2011 - Very interesting wine, big fruit, big nose, but not overbearing and smooth. This was an excellent Thanksgiving wine and great finish to other wines earlier in the meal. I wish I had bought more of this.

May 21, 2011 - If anyone wants to know what a cab franc tastes like, this is the prototype flavor profile. Heavy, flowery, dash of clover perhaps.

January 22, 2011 - Fantastic wine. loads of ripe black fruit, with notes of eucalyptus, cedar. Well balanced and drinking great right now.

January 9, 2011 - P&P'ed. First hour stewed plums and scorched earth. After first hour evolved into a full bodied, velvety and hedonistic wine. Massive improvement from first opening. Note to self, decant minimum 1 hour next time. Also throwing off a massive amount of sediment, so much you can hardly see through bottle as the sides are coated. Can definitely smell and taste the heat, which is a detraction, but is a beautiful wine nonetheless. Very well balanced besides the alcohol, not sure if time will help.
