November 27, 2013 - Lovely, transparent, pure - drinking really well.

January 7, 2013 - Delightful! Beautifully balanced. Light but not thin. Fragrant but not cloying or cheap. As much as Puffeney's ego and Rosenthal's even larger ego, annoys me intellectually, wow, what a nice wine and hats off to Rosenthal.

Light strawberries, roses, almost soft at this point.

September 16, 2012 - Not quite up to the level of the bottle a couple of weeks ago, this was pretty stinky on opening. I double decanted and some of it blew off. It showed the familiar nice red fruits and a fair bit of structure still but not quite the purity of the last one.

ETA: A lone glass left in the bottle (in the Eurocave) overnight held up remarkably well, this after it had been double decanted the day prior. Yes, there were hints of oxidation, but really only hints.

Rockss and Fruit

(Puffeny Arbois Trousseau) Structured, ripe and juicy with very profound aromatics and a wonderful soft texture but with acidity to back it up. This wine echoed in the mouth and beautiful inner mouth perfume. This will be really great in three years. Not that it is a slouch now
