June 27, 2010 - Very light. Not too much there. But enjoyable. Some cherry.
January 19, 2010 - Good nose, but taste is very thiin almost tastless. Not a good effort from King Estate.
August 15, 2009 - Gut Rot,Jug wine and NEXT. All the same to me. Hung over the entire NEXT day, which is why the NEXT time I see a directive on a label I'm following it. NEXT time - just say no thanks.
May 31, 2009 - A wine with good density and structure, King Estate's Next Pinot Noir is redolent of cherry, spice, plum and florals. Round yet balanced, this wine is drinking very well now, especially with veal or pork tenderloin, and will also reward 3-5 years in a cellar. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2008)

February 16, 2009 - Agree with most of the comments below. A nice, light Pinot for the price (~$15 on sale), but doesn't come close to the 2003 King Estate Freedom Hills we tried a few night ago (but of course that one is $$)
September 28, 2008 - A lean style that reminded me of some of what is coming out of NZ these days with dark fruit and pine cone notes that are simple and appealing.
September 27, 2008 - Popped and poured. Nice light Oregon Pinot with up front fruit and quick finish. Enjoyable.
December 14, 2007 - nice cherry,blackberry w/ a hint of cocoa nose. taste of blackberry, currants.kind of a flat, short finish. ok wine
October 14, 2007 - Tasted as part of a pinot flight @ KE. Cherries and oak on nose. Strawberry & fruit, short finish. Decent stuff but not worth the $22/bottle. This is positioned in their lineup as their 'value' PN, but I don't see it...
