  April 26, 2019 - (Our last bottle, alas!). Most things stand from notes of 2016. There is a touch of violets in the bq, the still very fresh body fruit now has exotic fruits (pineapple) in it. Still nowhere near old age, but we feel that the descent has begun.

  September 30, 2016 - Gold-amber colour. Lovely bq w petroleum, minerals, white fruits (peaches, white currants), some honey, touch of citrus. Full bodied, full of flavours, with still very fresh fruit, fine acidity, all in a perfect balance. Long, very clean aftertaste w complexity. Apart from the colour, the wine does not show its age - will keep at least 5 yrs. World Class Riesling!

  August 25, 2016 - Golden color and clearly a mature Riesling. Nose is complex and layered with aged fruit, light petrol, butterscotch, honey and sherry-like aromas. Medium body with good concentration and still-fresh acids. Interesting, though I'm finding I prefer dry Riesling younger.

  December 7, 2013 - Ninth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): Bright color, incredibly fresh overall. Apple, some pear and orange. Very good energy and minerality. Easily my favorite of the flight, most others agreed.
