December 3, 2022 - Excellent wine, but for the current price, there are many more bottles that, for me, are more enjoyable.
I opened this 2018 on the heels of the 2016 and actually the later far exceeded the former in taste. I would buy the 2016 again but not this 2018.

I double decanted yesterday and brought to a party where the guests said the same thing. For this wine to still be in the bottle today speaks for its likability of my wine lover's guests.

Tonight, I'm enjoying the party's leftovers, and this is paring well with lamb, yet does not fulfill its price-to-taste-enjoyment.

There's stones, dry flowery fruit, stem tannins, short finish with some oils that build. It's quality, but skip this year for the $60 price tag.

November 25, 2021 - Meaty, funky dark fruited with that unmistakable Jamet nose, paired this with our rather untraditional Thanksgiving dinner of Nona's Italian Pot Roast - also went into the sauce. Not a wine to contemplate too hard or age in the cellar but delivers hearty enjoyable goodness in the present.

October 24, 2021 - Solid wine. Not sure what time will do to this wine. Medium plus acid and medium tannin. Super bushy and fairly bretty. Decanted for 4+ hours and very little fruit is showing. More bandaid and funk with some black pepper. This wine is way too young to enjoy right now. I'd be interested to see this in 5 years.

January 29, 2021 - Medium Body, Medium Plus Acidity,
Fruit in the background of blue and purple fruit; very earthy, bacon fat, cooked meat, and olives; long finish; great wine for the price
