March 7, 2017 - Sur le déclin. Nez encore envoutant de tabac, cèdre, floral, des notes balsamiques. La bouche est svelte, avec des tannins complètement fondus, une acidité nette mais une finale bien courte.
September 11, 2013 - Punchy nose that smells of capsicum, tobacco, green bean and sweet cassis. It is creamy in the mouth with quite luscious fruit tempered by the wine's cooler elements. There's a hint of compost and moss development although the wine is fresh and vibrant. Drinking really nicely with plenty still in the tank.
August 27, 2012 - Dried leaves, leather, coffee grounds, light slightly sweet, tart cherry; medium body, medium high acidity, tannins almost completely resolved, very silky, sour cherry finish with nice lifting acidity in the end. Slightly more mellow the next day making it more even more appealing. Worked with both pork loin and (light) teriyaki chicken.
June 14, 2010 - Past it. Started out with decayed leaves, autumnal red fruit notes and a faint oxidative element, with air this only went downhill.
July 31, 2002 - Beautiful wine. At its peak now. Good oak, fruit and depth.
April 30, 2001 - Good oak, soft and firm tannin. A very good, but not great wine.
