November 30, 2022 - Pineapple, mango, honey and honeysuckle, hint of petrol, balanced acids, fairly dry, there is nothing wrong here but it doesn’t speak to me. I think I’m just not a PG guy, though I keep trying. B-

August 27, 2020 - This bottle was a disappointment, given my previous experience. Just seemed flat compared to prior outings. Clearly a Pinot Gris, but lacked the layers of flavor and the nose of previous samplings.

June 5, 2020 - Stunningly good. Similar to my last note. Sorry it was the last one.

February 10, 2020 - Fresh tropical fruits, honey suckle, & citrus notes. A tad tight at the moment.
Palate- tropical fruits, citrus, lots of acid & minerals with a softer body. Needs air, but otherwise it's very nice. Blood orange is prominent on the finish.

April 27, 2019 - Lemon colour with aromas pencil rubber which blew away quickly to deliver lemon, white blossom, mushroom and some minerality. The palate has ripe pear and a fruit salad and cream on entry, spice too with a long finish. Tasted alongside the Rolly Gassmann 2008 and came out second best but lovely nonetheless and still drinking well.

October 3, 2018 - Superb bottle, in the middle of drinking window. Getting more honeyed nuances in the fruit and berry flavors. I did not have any of the oxidation in other comments.

September 23, 2018 - Mid gold to bronze edges.
Fairly evolved nose with a bouquet showing barley sweets, spun sugar, brandy snaps and oranges soaked in brandy.
The palate reflects the nose with an oily texture followed by a sweetness and marmalade bitterness. Seems out of condition. Pity.

September 3, 2018 - Terroir-istes International - France, Alsace Pinot Gris & Gewurztraminer (Cape Town Law offices): (Tasted Blind): Mid gold in colour. Evident signs of ageing with notes of runny honey, ripe citrus (orange and grapefruit), barley sugar, hay, and soaked oranges in spun sugar.
A dry entry with tight acidity showing evolution, there is a sinewy texture and noted orange towards marmalade elements with floral, melon and exotic spices - even a hint of raisin.
Feels slightly out of condition but still was enjoyable.

July 7, 2018 - Definitely showing oxidation but didn't think it was "gone"; however, some at tasting did.
