    June 18, 2016 - A delicious rich, medium-full bodied Pinot.

May 13, 2016 - This speaks more of Burgundy than the Santa Lucia Highlands. Earthy, spicy , with red berries, ending with dried fig. Lovely.

March 12, 2016 - This bottle was outstanding. Earth dusted red cherries are the main feature of the aromatics, and they're some of the most reminiscent of Burgundy that I've experienced in a CA PN. The palate marks this is new world though, with the fruit density being the tell-tale marker. There's plenty of gentle spice to go with the red fruits on the palate, and sufficient vibrancy from the acidity to keep it fresh. A coating of fine tannins appears on the finish. Drinking at peak right now, I'd say, and will hopefully hold for some time at this level. Wonderful.

Red-fruited. Relaxed. Plenty of ripe fruit, but with good supporting acidity. Alcohol not noticeable. Oak is a bit more prominent than I'd prefer, but it's not a big detractor. Drinking quite nicely now, and I'm not sure it has the stuffing to be a super-long ager. Probably best to keep checking in every six to twelve months, for the time being.

February 16, 2016 - Lovely ruby red color with hints of darker purple. Intoxicating nose of pine sap, black pepper and limestone. Still pretty tight and primary at cellar temperature - nice tart black cherry fruit, a little sappy tannic bite with just a hint of cranberry sweetness. Lovely, with a long life left ahead of it.
