  March 15, 2011 - Popped and vinturi'd this last night. Nose of sweet dark fruits, a jammy aroma stood out, which does not sit well w/me. A medium to full bodied wine, w/some nice flavor profiles of blackberry, blueberry and a bit of pepper. Day 2 the preserve/jam is gone, and the wine has really improved, just wish it had tasted like this, right out of the gate. A well made wine, a few more left, will decant these, for a $15 effort, pretty sophisticated.

  February 3, 2011 - This is ok, but nothing remarkable. A little flabby and lacks the acidity I like. Get a bit sour on the finish. ($8)

  January 15, 2011 - Popped and poured, initial nose of jam and sweet dark fruits. Drinking this on a gloomy, wet evening in Portland, watching the Packers crush the Falcons in the NFL playoffs. This is a sweet fruit bomb, right out of the gate, w/a jammy syrah dominating this Rhone-like blend. After an hour and a half or so, the wine opened and the bombastic fruit mellowed out. Plenty of other Rhone warrior options at this price point.

  October 27, 2009 - Un blanc puisssant. Belle équilibre acidité/amertume. Le nez a évolué et se fait plus discret. Boisé discret et pas dérangent du tout.

  April 4, 2009 - Very pleasant...not overly complicated, and a crowd pleasing white for all palates. Minimal oak. Great QPR.
