February 28, 2008 - A fabulous wine. Colour inky and deep. Bouquet not overpowering but blackcurrant. On the palate the wine was huge. Beautifully balanced mixture of fruit, tannins and acid. Soft black fruit flavours, rich and soft. The aftertaste went on for ever - this is a fabulous wine - i dont often drink pure cab sav nowadays, but this will make me seek out more. I had this with steak and couscous with olives, the latter complemented the wine perfectly. I must get more of this.
