November 22, 2014 - Dark ruby color, but translucent rather than inky. This is evolving in the glass - revealing scents of white pepper, meat, mineral, earth, cinnamon spice and plummy blue fruit. On the palate, this is still a bit tight showing black raspberry fruit, earth and good structure with acidity, earth, chalky minerals and significant grip on the finish. Just a baby at nine years old. This should improve and unwind with more time in a cool cellar.

September 27, 2014 - Women in Wine - Mike G and Nola visit Cleveland; 9/27/2014-9/29/2014 (A Restaurant on Lee Road): I tried to wait on this to allow it as much air as possible. The nose has blueberries and black raspberries with a bit of pepper. Some coffee notes as well. On the palate, nice acidity. Good fruit. Still young, but starting to unwind. Medium tannins. These wines need time.

September 26, 2014 - Structured and complex. Red raspberries/blackberries, red/black cherries and an herbal note. Everything is well integrated. Drinking great now but should last a long time.

September 24, 2014 - First day was unimpressive, with no real character, but on day 2 was much better.

July 26, 2014 - I don't think I enjoyed this bottle as much as others. Seemed very primary, grapey, almost touch of heat. Appreciate the med-full body and balance of acidity.
