December 5, 2017 - Straightforward tropical and stone fruit flavors, minimal petrol on the finish. Pleasant sipper, but not the wine I thought it should be at this point.

February 22, 2016 - Pretty and complex aromatic - petrol notes emerging and layered on to sweet apple, honey and coconut notes. Rich and sweet on the palate. Lower acid profile and the wine is a bit heavy.

October 30, 2014 - Shows pretty basic and correct with a lower acid profile, which is likely the vintage signature. Tons of primary fruit and some wet rock notes. Simpler. Not much depth. But enjoyable none the less.

September 25, 2013 - Big sweet nose of baked apple, tropical fruits and minerals. Palate is richly fruited and sweet. Moderate acidity provides some offset to sweetness, but not enough cut to create verve and tension. Medium plus finish. Okay, but really needs more acidity.

August 5, 2011 - #19-04. Slight green tinge. Slightly spicy nose, with some notes of gummy bears, green apples, lots of sulfur and a hint of minerality. Quite effervescent and full-bodied, and definitely showing a bit of ripeness. Somewhat lacking in the complexity department, this is amazingly yummy and makes for a great refreshing drink for quaffing.

June 4, 2009 - Nose has lots of peaches, apricots, grapes with a hint of flint, almond and gas. Strong acidity and a touch of effervescence supports the round sweetness, very quaffable. Tastes a little older than it is. There's an odd and vaguely unpleasant soapy texture here, along with a soapy aftertaste on the finish - it's keeping this from being a great wine. Still, very tasty.

November 22, 2008 - Slightly quiet on the nose initially, but really opens out with some air to show lots of apple, peach and some tropical fruit notes with some slate, spices and honey underneath. Full bodied in the mouth yet light on its feet with surprising acidity for the vintage, a little spritz and very bright, pure flavours of apple, peach, pineapple, honey and cherries. The sweetness is well balanced by the acidity, and this is a fantastic food-Auslese - a wonderful match with Thai food.

July 6, 2006 - Forward nose presents ripe white fruits, slate and honey. Full bodied and viscous, a feminine frame of acidity holds this together. Palate is still quite primary but already has depth with sweet fruits and minerals. Long, strong finish is honey-apple laden. Delicious now, but the future holds a ton of promise.
