May 13, 2022 - Drinking well. Firm tannins will continue to age. Cherry fruit with earthy undertones.

August 17, 2018 - This btl is far better than the last. This is showing its stuff now as a cleanly made, balanced, Haut Medoc. It will not stop traffic or make old bones but it does justice to entry level Bx and is really enjoyable. Lots of iron and minerals here. Would look for this in an update vintage.

January 13, 2016 - Supple nose of truffles, black olives, creme de cassis, kirsch, crushed minerals, and bramble (maybe even hints of blueberries). Palate starts off harshly tannic at first, but softens over time, although the aromas fade over a couple hours and make the wine smell hot. It is a solid wine, but certainly not to write home about and the awkward drinking window is rather imposing.

March 14, 2015 - First time of trying this vintage. Still bright colour. Dark cherry nose. Mouth filling flavour. Still quite tannic. Will be better in a couple of years and then drink well over the next five.

January 25, 2015 - Dark to a thin watery rim. Nose of blackcurrant which follows through on the palate but the fruit is beginning to fade and the dried, slightly green notes are beginning to emerge. Acidty and tannins are integrated but the flavours let it down. I have had this wine before, albeit from different vintages, but this is disappointing. If you have any drink it up.
