May 29, 2022 - Nice easy wine with steak and salad
November 18, 2021 - A little smoky, but nice. Good QPR
November 11, 2021 - Opened this as the night waned on. Tasted without food, though now looking back food may have helped. Sweet on entry—red fruits and decent acidity. Tannins are present but mostly a bit player. Fruitiness to the point of seeming cloying. Definitely a crowd pleaser but not the right wine to open up after other more structured, intriguing wines.
August 27, 2021 - Ehhh…
August 4, 2021 - Sure it has its shortcomings: too much oak, some rough edges in the mid palate, a short finish. But for the price it’s not at all bad as an undemanding wine with tomatoes and pasta dinner. It’s not particularly heavy handed in tannins or extraction so it’s not trying to be something it is not. Surprisingly pleasant and not too tiring to drink. Good QPR in a bracket I frankly don’t visit that often.
Score : 86. Relative to expectations:+
June 20, 2021 - Raspberry, med acid, plum jucy af nose. Blueberry, lemon, nice tannin balance
June 13, 2021 - Pairs well with grilled beef, lasagna or dark chocolate
April 23, 2021 - Bright purple, semi opaque. On the nose it is very fruity with bright blackberries, dark cherry and red twizzlers. The palate is very fresh with lighter black fruit notes, some cherry cola and vibrant tannins. The finish is simple yet full of fruit flavors and a modicum of tannins. There is a good dose of acidity that keeps it lively. This is meant for immediate drinking and will go well with marinated sirloin or pasta with red sauce. 87 points and for $14 it gets 4 stars from me.

March 23, 2021 - Could have gone 90 on this. On the dry side with developed tannins and decent body. Should age okay for a couple of years I should guess.
January 26, 2021 - Nose is spicy and crisp.
Taste is fruity, maybe a dark cherry or plum, with subtle notes of wood and earth.
Really enjoyable for 13$
