March 13, 2010 - Light color...nice fruit on the nose, dark berries with a decent finish. Ok bottle...prefer a good Oregon Pinot!!!

July 12, 2008 - Anita: Very good fruit + min. + earth tones; no spice or complex notes, but great bal., flavor, just right, a very good Bourgogne. Maybe 90. Gregg.

February 20, 2008 - Popped and poured, drank over 3 hours. Initially showing a slightly offputting nose of cherry and alcohol. After about a half hour it started to come together. Nice rich nose of cherries with a hint of minerals, but also a bit too acidic on the finish. After about 2 hours it was still improving in the glass. Nose of cherries and minerals with some crisp acidity. Solid in the midpalate, but would not describe as lush. A slight lingering finish. Overall a sold entry level Burg.

October 12, 2007 - Brief notes from memory. Similar profile to the previous bottle, but with somewhat denser, sappier fruit. Good length and concentration for a Bourgogne.

October 3, 2007 - Tasting Group Dinner w/ Alan Rath (Fugaise, Minneapolis): Tight and primal, showing medium-weight, nicely ripe red cherry fruit. Decent complexity and length for its pedigree. I don't think I've found the penultimate 05 Bourgogne to buy by the multiple caseload here. The $16 price point represents good value, IMO.
