March 29, 2024 - What a wonderfully unique wine. Expressive notes of strawberries, pure berries, florals and a herbaceous quality on the nose. What you’d expect from a natural burg. Colour was super light and a little cloudy. On the palate there was a slightly spritzy/tingly feeling on the tongue. Pure fruit and a lovely bright and wide acidity. The unique blend of Chardonnay, Gamay and Pinot, certainly comes through in complexity and a light and bright and fruity wine. you could drink this all day, immensely pleasurable and very well executed.

December 27, 2022 - Pale ruby in the glass. Some stemmy vibes on the nose complemented by red berry fruit, red plum, hibiscus and a twirl of licorice. Medium weight with a strong grip of tannins and high acidity. Has a great finesse, almost like silk. Love this producer, but this is damn young. Not even close to how enjoyable it can be.

January 11, 2022 - A downright beautiful wine that plays in the floral and bright red-berried register. The flavours are intense yet transparent, and the acidity is pronounced yet not shrill, so the drinkability is very high. A few years of ageing would surely be beneficial if you can withstand drinking these beauties.

May 15, 2021 - First wine of an epic night at The Four Horsemen last night. Crunchy, high-toned red fruits jumped out of the glass, lots of hard strawberry candy and fresh field flowers, hibiscus & twizzler liquorice. Great acidity, medium minus body with plenty of tension & freshness. Could drink it all night.

July 16, 2020 - A field blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay and Chardonnay from a historical vineyard in Marcon. Tasted blind – Slightly natural nose of lees contact. No sulphur added. Fragrant rose petal, sweet raspberries. Hints of VA, very light bodied and low in alcohol. Some carbonic maceration? Very refreshing, perfect to serve at 13-14 degrees. Pinot Noir? Willamette Valley? 2018? (83/100)
