  February 19, 2011 - Beautiful, light brown around the edges, but still very dark purple. Oak, cedar, tobacco, and leather on the nose. I could smell this wine for hours. The palate is huge, very long (30s or longer). I would love to have more of this one.

  June 11, 2010 - Very, very enjoyable "old style" Napa cabernet. Much more sedate than the offerings from 2003 (though I love those too). Nose is slightly muted, but over time opens with aromas of currant, cocoa, and tobacco. Solid plum and black currant fruit, with little alcohol on finish. Very balanced wine. This is drinking beautifully now, though I'm not sure it's going to improve over where it's at now.
