Community Tasting Notes 3

September 29, 2009 - PnP. Nose of red and black fruits/berries with some peppery spice and noticeable etoh. Palate is jammy and soft with medium+ fruit intensity. Pleasant flavors but finishes with etoh. No real complexity and finesse doesn't enter the equation.

October 13, 2008 - Much better than I remembered the last bottle, same flavor notes but more balanced. No trace of the alcohol I noticed last time, and the acidity was sufficiently prominent. Too bad I don't have any more of this.

June 1, 2008 - Good spice and raspberry notes, along with some bramble, but this is a touch hot. There isn't enough backbone to really balance out the jammy-ness. Not a bad wine, but not nearly as good as the Papera.
