October 19, 2023 - PnP through aerator. Light ruby with tiny amount of bricking? Strawberry and clove bouquet, some vanilla. Extremely long and delicate on palate. 13.5% doesn’t show at all to me. Probably at peak.

October 7, 2022 - Austere to start with. However, with air and time (couple of hours) it gains weight and dept. Last sip was certainly the most enjoyable.

June 19, 2022 - Strawberry, smoke, some menthol, vanilla, maybe some leather and clove on the nose.
Medium- body, sweet strawberry, some tartness, earthiness and nice slightly bitter, slightly tannic finish. This has a surprisingly long taste.

May 7, 2022 - ABC with the "Running" Club (Leafy West London): Hmmm. On the nose - some spiciness, maybe even a whiff of gingerbread. On the palate - that complexity is there, there's a savouriness to it. Really long finish. Usually my enjoyment of NW pinot noir is really just a function of how burgundian it is but this was a bit special, in spite of most clearly being not burgundian at all. My #3 WOTN.

March 7, 2022 - This pours very light ruby in the glass, a touch of orange at the rim. The nose is lifted and complex and unfurls over the course of several hours showing orange oil, strawberry, fresh ginger, sassafras, new leather, cloves, herbal bitters, tangerine, eucalyptus, twigs, and mossy undergrowth. The palate enters on lovely sweet red and citrus fruit, turning to medium minus tannin, medium plus acid, and a finish driven by the orange oil, orange pith, and ginger. Just a little of the 13.5% alcohol shows, but otherwise the finish is actually quite long and complex. Rating this conservatively based on what this is showing today at 92, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some improvement as it ages.

July 30, 2021 - Nice nose - cherries and earth. Good acid and spice from the whole cluster fermentation (~50%). The S&B isn't my favorite ABC pinot, but a good wine.

January 21, 2021 - Richer more savory side of pinot noir. Bloody on the nose. With some oak showing off as well. Its all there.
