February 23, 2021 - The hue is deep gold. Interesting nose of brown sugar, sweet butter, and a touch of cinnamon. The palate is deep, evolved, but somewhat unfocused with mouthcoating brown sugar and honey flavors. So sweet you can only have a glass or so before getting fatigued. At full maturity and I would suggest this is past its peak.

December 30, 2012 - Rich nose of honey, pear, apple, petrol. On the palate, full bodied and more like an auslese with pear, apple, honey, and a nice balance of citrus. Finishes with nice zing. Great bottle.

March 6, 2012 - Rich riesling fruit aromas dominated by apricot and white fruits. Complex and very sweet flavors of honey, petrol and stone fruits. Rich honeyed finish. This is very sweet even by Spatlese standards but it's got the backbone to support it. Food friendly, it went quite well with a dish of pork chops, mustard, apples, and onions.

Full-bodied. Excellent sugar acidity balance. Clean palate with ripe fruits and minerality
