    Tasted non blind.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, black pepper and black berries. Flavors of black berries, black cherries and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

July 14, 2014 - This has evolved to be a remarkable wine. Still probably short of fully mature. Viscous, complex, rewarding, distinctive-

May 26, 2014 - Quite rare, fortunately, that you come across this style anymore. So over extracted, hot and "jammy" that we couldn't bare to finish the bottle...

February 1, 2014 - Served 14 C which helped. Not as heavy as last time 3 years ago. Classic mature Merlot nose of blueberries and steel. The high alcohol did not show through as much this time. As soon as it stays for a dayin bottle and warms up a bit, it becomes much sweeter. Unsure how long it will keep developing, but quite nice now.

December 22, 2013 - Highly extracted and hot. Nothing nuanced. An avalanche of plummy alchohol. The heavy bottle says it all. Nonetheless, if that's your thing, it might work for you. The flavors toned down a bit after a couple of hours, but still not my cup of tea.
