December 4, 2018 - Intoxicating aromas of mixed black fruits, still smells primary-ish but there is more going on here to give it these aromas. Age has fared well for this nose. Palate is a bit flat though with some plummy notes poking though. Finished with some tannin still and odd bitterness. All said I enjoyed this wine and I don’t think it’s near falling apart, but the bitterness is a bit worrying should it intrude anymore. A fun experiment non the less.
