December 12, 2023 - Hits the traditional marks of a botrytis dessert wines with med+ acidity and notes of apricot, honey, and citrus. Notable finish. However, the medium intensity on nose and palate betrays this wine as not a Sauternes. At $20 bucks for a half bottle can’t complain and good to know.

October 23, 2023 - I'm a big fan of Tokaji and Sauternes. This isn't close to the same quality as one. Butterscotch, apricot jam and a bit of honey. The acidity is unbalanced and the sweetness gets overbearing quickly. I feel like this is a tad overhyped but I am willing to look into other vintages before I completely shut down the idea of botrytised semillion from Australia.

July 4, 2023 - On croise rarement des vins liquoreux de cette qualité hors de Sauternes et de Tokaji. Ce vin fait parti des 1001 vins à boire dans sa vin et comprend facilement pourquoi.

Belle robe or dense. Un nez d'une grande complexité avec des poires, des pêches en conserve, de du gingembre, des abricots, du macis et autres épices nobles. Une bouche d'un équilibre sucre acidité parfaite. La finale est interminable. Une grande réussite.

April 21, 2023 - Deep gold in colour. Pronounced nose intensity with notes of peach, apricot, nectarine, honey and orange marmalade.

March 3, 2023 - I haven't had a vintage of this in perhaps 20 years and maybe looked down on it as a kind of poor man's sauternes. But I found unexpected freshness and balance here. Not overly complex and the broad round palate with butter-scotch/barley sugar notes are not going to be confused with sauternes, but it is a valid and highly enjoyable alternative.
