March 17, 2020 - Beautiful nose of lemon, sweet spices, kitchen spices. Beautiful entry, fresh, stays elegant in context of the varietal. Lovely bitterness at the finish buffering the ripe fruit. 94+

July 1, 2019 - Drank from the chilled bottle, Vibrant gold colour, primarily wood on the nose, ripe/candied fruits underneath, baked pineapple, spices. Quite complex. Acidity is present but medium at best. Drinks well but the wood is still very present and dominating. Might be a day 2 wine.

December 14, 2014 - Tasted this wine at my year end wine gathering at Jade Palace Restaurant.

Wine was decanted (and chilled) for 20 minutes before serving. Yellow in colour with a sharp, focused acidity in the body. Notes of pineapple and melons with lots of energy, focus and power in this full-bodied wine.

May 26, 2014 - decent, just not a lot of the Hermitage blanc 'Band-Aid' characteristic.

May 2, 2014 - Vinet behöver tid. Nästan godare dag 2 än dag 1, känns lite alloholhett dag 1 men det är bara 13,5%

October 27, 2013 - Wine of great balance.
Golden colour, with acacia and white flowers component on the nose, full bodied, oily and mineral in the mouth, complex, with depth of flavors to enjoy. Wine with personality.

September 20, 2012 - White wine Guigal Masterclass (Stockholm): Deep yellow colour. In the nose ripe yellow fruit, zest, mineral, spice. Full-bodied and oily on the palate, noticeably spicy, shows mineral and some menthol, low acidity, slight bitterness, a hint of nut. Rather elegant wine, surprisingly mineral, not quite closed but is probably headed that way for a couple of years. 91+ p
This has apparently not (yet) gone hiding in "the tunnel".

September 13, 2011 - Tight and focused nose that reminds me of honeysuckle, pear, apricot, caramel, quince and licorice. Suberb concentration and power in palate. Although acidity is relative low(med-) it is well balanced with moderate alcohol. Rest of components are also in balance. Use of oak is judicious. Bright future for this well-defined and well-delineated wine which is produced from very ripe but with freshness fruit.

October 14, 2010 - Mid yellow; nose somewhat closed, fattish, buttery; fat round taste, all held up with right amount of acidity; good aftertaste; if anything lacking some complexity and excitement, but very nice and pleasant; very good value for money
