February 22, 2020 - Not necessarily past its prime, but not exiting either. Juicy, kinda monolithic. Not back for a meat heavy dinner night. Not great either

September 3, 2017 - It has been 3 years since our last bottle and can report that the wine is still in very good condition. Blackberry and cassis nose, plenty of dark berry fruit, tannins fully integrated now, a hint of acidity, medium length finish. Went well with grilled sirloin steak. We consider this QC wine one of the great values in red wine.

May 15, 2016 - Red licorice and strawberry pie on the nose. Prominent black cherry on the palate with a finish that feels a little hot. Still some zesty acidity present with mellow tannins still discernible. My guess is that it has recently crossed over to the other side of the hill but is still very good. Needs some red meat to accompany it.

August 16, 2015 - A really excellent Bordeaux blend. Bright red fruited. Ripe and dense but so youthful and lively. Long lingering finish. Impressive given its age - it's still a baby.

August 2, 2013 - dark red color, dark berry and current nose, medium weight, boysenberry/black raspberry fruit, slightly tannic, acidity OK with a medium length pleasant finish. Probably good for a few years but we plan to drink up our last two bottles soon.
