November 22, 2023 - Good fruit and complexity. Seems to be at its peak.
November 12, 2023 - This is much brighter and purer than the previous bottle. Much less oak and and more fruit. Ready to drink. Now-2025 88.
Next night: this has gained aromatic complexity, depth and there seams to be slightly more tannin. Either this has unexpectedly evolved or I missed the boat last night. Absolutely delicious. 90
June 3, 2023 - Weird nose of oak and baked coconut, but tastes pretty good for a $13 Rioja.
May 2, 2023 - This cones across a bit too modern at first, with coconut and ripe cherries. But then some leather and mushroom notes show up late. Simple but quaffable.
March 5, 2023 - Black fruit, meat, dried tomatoes on nose and palate. Ruby, medium plus body. More of same on palate with some oak and tertiary aspects. Probably starting to decline soon, drink up.

October 7, 2022 - A little better than the last bottle. A little more fruit and seems more balanced. Terroir and tannin are present enough to up a point. Wouldn’t wait much longer to finish these up. 3.6 stars
July 24, 2022 - After extended airing, lightly aromatic nose of grilled meat and herb switches and black cherry cobbler, oak and a little heat. The palate is dry but savory with good acidity. Oak is present, but doesn't dominate. Would be pleasant with sausages or other rustic fare. 87

July 16, 2022 - First bottle and thinking this wine is past peak. Can taste the age; not as acidic as past reviews suggest but kind of devoid of fruit. Still drinking other 2015 Riojas that seem fresher. Price was right at $13 so shouldn’t expect too much. 3.5 stars.
