July 29, 2010 - Medium dark red. Gone is the sweat so dominating on release. Now it's been replaced by charcoal smoke, potatoes, and minerals. Surprising sweetness really shows the year, although I would have preferred more brightness as well (perhaps this has faded with time). Still some furriness to the tannin, though, on the finish.
