May 28, 2009 - Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2009-06; South-Africa (By HV): Quite a lot of citrus in the bouquet. Some tropical fruits as well. Soft citrus, apples and almonds in the taste. Firm amount of acidity in the taste. Little bitterness in the finish.

June 11, 2008 - Indeed! Garlic! But also vanilla (not the oaky kind, real vanilla pods), and ripe pear. Works really well, I've never had a chardonnay like this. Great wine, excellent length with a peacock tail's finish.
April 10, 2008 - (Had at a tasting -- no rating, but I would've given this an 88+.) Golden yellow color. Nose reminds me of garlic bread: bread, butter, and almost some garlic/onion tones. Very distinct and different in the mouth: more garlic/onion, interesting spiciness, good acidity. Moderately rich, but alcohol is a bit noticeable and finish is somewhat sour. Overall a very interesting, intriguing, and nice wine.
