    95 I am
Really fantastic and delicious still strong and powerful after 19 years from birth and 15 from release
Do not need anything except some parmigiano or pecorino
Do not need long decanting , very quick will change to optimal drinking level

July 13, 2016 - was expecting more from this. It drank fine but lacked any wow factor.
Purchased upon release and stored properly. But in the end it did not excite.

June 4, 2016 - Really a disappointment. This was stored under ideal conditions all these years but after reading all of the great notes of the site itreally highlights that wine is a living dynamic thing and each bottle has its own life trajectory.
Decanted for an hour, the nose was odd, almost like a Beaujolais Nouveau.
This was pretty thin on the palette. There was fruit present, but without any real substance. The tannins were nonexistent but there was a lot of acidity.
This was not a bad wine but not the same wine everyone else has described. At least the Ornellaia was great 😏 And saved the night.
I won't give this a score since it is obviously a bottle variation.

May 28, 2016 - Beautiful and full bodied. Definitely in it's window now. Put this in with some JPV cabs from the 80s and early 90's in a blind tasting. Interesting.
