April 27, 2024 - Another winner. Did a glass one night via a Corvain- just awesome. Opened and drank rest two nites later. Clearly a RM and clearly a winner.

March 10, 2024 - Excellent effort from Rivers-Marie. Rich darker fruits supported by an balanced structure and extended finish. Outstanding.

January 2, 2024 - This wine garners rave reviews and rightfully so, it’s very nice. Doesn’t stray too far from RM style like Summa. It’s concentrated, lush, and fruit driven. Big mouthfeel. red currant, and sweet strawberry.

January 1, 2024 - Annual NYE Dinner and Champagne (My House): Opened last night. We left the bottle on the counter without the cork and heck, there's about an ounce in the bottle so just enough for a note this afternoon! Consuming without food, temp of wine is 67f. A faint hint of heat, what sometimes I would call soapy in aroma. In addition, something floral, like a lavender. Fruit gives me an impression of dark raspberry and blueberry, and what I really notice is cranberry which is how the acidity translates for me, a red-tinged acid. Of note is the fruit concentration here, and there is a feel on my tongue of a wet stone from the structure. This is a deeply flavored wine, with an edge from the acid that gives it something special. Very good.

July 4, 2023 - Light red fruit with floral and earthy notes. Very classic CA pinot in it's style and flavor profile. Liked it a lot.

April 20, 2023 - Couldn't wait, had only 1 bottle (all that was offered to me). Absolutely outstanding, perhaps the best American pinot I've had.
