March 24, 2024 - Really great! Walks a perfect line between white burg and Sonoma.

August 5, 2023 - This needed some air. Upon opening, it was all vanilla & dill, to the point where we almost thought it was flawed.
    Outstanding on day 2.

May 24, 2023 - Californian option for #Anniversary of the Judgement of Paris 2023 was the majestic Charles Heintz Chardonnay (v19) by Ted Lemon & Littorai Wines, a throughout terrific drinking experience already now. Straw-yellow, green reflections & slightly opaque in the glass. The wine opens a tad reticent w scents of lemon & lemon zest, peach, almonds & hazelnuts, wet stones - leading the way to fine-tuned butter, vanilla & tropical notes on the m+-bodied palate, perfect acidity, multi-layered, barrel-spiced & ever-lingering! Such a treat!

    April 17, 2022 - Delicious.

Beautiful balance of fruit and acidity - a touch of oak adding richness. Golden in color, aromatically powerful, and a full flavor spectrum. I find it difficult to isolate specific reference points in the classic sense - ie, citrus, stone fruit, etc - but the integration of all these components has resulted in a Chardonnay of great character and pleasure.

    Rated +2 on a scale of -1 to +3.

January 18, 2022 - very mineral and high acid for a California chardonnay, green lemon, crushed rock, medium weight, after taste is acid and slightly disjoint. Taste like a good quality village level burgundy.
