November 20, 2023 - This bottle was less impressive than previous bottles, but that may just be a personal impression. Lots of oak here, without the lusciousness of fruit that I recall in previous bottles. Just ok.
October 13, 2023 - Recent purchase, first experience with this wine. Chilled, PnP, drank over 2 nights.
Medium light gold color. Citrus, lime zest, vanilla oak on the nose. Crisp palate of orchard fruit, baked apple, creme brûlée, vanilla. Nice acidity through the mid palate. Medium weight and finish.
Very nice wine, you have to like the style. Some might not like the predominant oak/vanilla notes. Classically CA Chardonnay, great value at this price
August 28, 2023 - Gold in the glass. Light oak, vanilla, baked apple, ripe peachy pear flavours with decent acidity. Well balanced and attractive wine.
July 3, 2023 - No contemporaneous notes. This is a wonderful chardonnay for the money, rich, buttery oaky, and flavorful. (88-90).

January 25, 2023 - Lime peel, lemon pith, white flowers, and herbs on the nose. There's a nice pull between fresh and ripe elements. Full bodied and laced with a hint of white pepper, ending with a refreshing mineral snap.
