August 10, 2016 - Although this does have the tell-tale characteristics I look for in a Chablis (flinty, chalky, saline minerality, candied lemon and lime, well judged balalnce in freshness and concentration), I thought this particular bottling was just a tad too oaky, too blowsy, too loud to totally convince me. I usually prefer the restraint and musky and musty nuances in a Raveneau or Dauvissat. A very good wine, nonetheless.

January 26, 2014 - Starts to hit its stride after about 2 hrs. Needs to be drunk at room temp to show its full potential (chill and allow to warm up). As others have stated this is a round and broader wine but with ample freshness - an attribute of the vintage I suppose.

Shy nose at first. The palate displays green and underripe notes at first as well. As the wine develops the nose comes to life with pineapple, green mango, stems, brush, and a bit of salinity.

    90-92pts.

March 10, 2013 - Popped and poured. With Japanese food in Tsumura. Pale yellow, clear. Nose of tropical fruit. Crisp and tense, but after a few minutes, started rounding out a bit. Balanced and longish. Delicious. Do not over chill. Lots more improvement with time I expect. Drank with Vinum CS glasses.

January 29, 2013 - Drank in December, so very hazy on the technical details, but I’m sure as hell crystal clear on my recollection that this was both accessible yet full of underlying tension. I might be in the minority, but I have had really great experiences with Fevre GC’s from 2005 to current vintages.

November 23, 2012 - Still possessing a light green/yellow tinge, this impressively concentrated wine has loads of citrus and mineral notes with a zippy, slightly tannic mouthfeel. Very tightly wound, this Chablis needs a few more years of aging to show its full potential.
