November 7, 2023 - Another awesome red from Daou. The depth of the nose with blackberry and leather is very nice. The body is full with great tannic structure.
February 26, 2023 - smooth with dark suit and leather..somewhat rustic but not over powering went very well with grilled beef filet
November 16, 2022 - Double decanted and let it sit for a couple of hours to have time to open up. Dark fruit, distinctive Malbec flavor, and a good earth. Very enjoyable and it went great with a good pork chop and sweet potatoes.
September 15, 2022 - This wine (2019) needs a lot more time in the bottle. Deep dark red, referred to it as motor oil. Nose heavy in spices, cloves, leather, big fruits. Taste, major tannin, wound tight, after an hour better but still tannin heavy. Give it 5 years or more.
April 27, 2022 - I opened and drank. Initially, not Great but after 10 minutes it began opening up. Within 15 min we had drank it. Need to try again and let it open for an hour.
March 11, 2022 - This is a delicious well balanced Malbec cuvée.
September 16, 2021 - This was a delicious bottle from Daou. I cannot express how much I enjoyed this bottle!
