May 27, 2023 - A delicious sipper they also paired well w/dinner. Pineapples very noticeable & just a quality wine for any occasion
March 3, 2023 - Thin and light, not acidic. An easy drinker that would be a crowd pleaser on a summer day.
August 21, 2022 - Once again, this was a more than serviceable quaffer. The pale, almost clear color belies an exotic tropical nose of pineapple and guava, with medium- to full-body. No acidity and not much complexity, but for what it is, and is meant to be, this is great.
March 6, 2022 - Deceptively pale, nearly white color belies the exotic nose of pineapple and guava. A bit thin on the palate and light on acids, but a very pleasant quaffing wine.
January 23, 2022 - Initial stone taste with hint of grapefruit. Finishes with green apple, citrus and apricot. Decent.
Should be great with turkey! Can buy again.
January 5, 2022 - Almost clear. A rich and intense, steely, grapey nose with a little bit of mustiness that actually really worked. Citrus and green notes, too.
On the palate, honey and greenness. We like it - it's simple but different. Light (med- body), dry, and with just enough acid (medium).
Overall, an enjoyable, unusual wine that we struggled to describe with the usual flavor notes. Give it a try if you're in the Finger Lakes (or Georgia, I suppose)!
December 16, 2021 - Nose similar to a nice Virginian Viognier with lots of orange blossom, apricots and lemon balm. Crisp and a little creamy on the palette with some stone fruit and a nice streak of minerality. Great with Asian or spicy Thai cuisine or, tonight, we enjoyed with chicken Milanese with some arugula and lemons. Very enjoyable.
August 11, 2021 - Light and refreshing.
May 30, 2021 - Great color. The nose shows fragrant aromas of ripe apricots, orange blossom oil, minerals and an herbal citrus zest. This is medium light bodied on the palate with very good concentration and good class. The medium plus length finish features a mineral element and a bitter citrus note.
