Community Tasting Notes 1

October 14, 2008 - Makansutra's Wine Dinner @ Golden Sands (Golden Sands @ AMK): Visibly aged with brick red-brown tinge. Good layers of sweet flavours on the nose of winter melon tea, diluted sarsi, old strawberries and diluted honey. This has a full spectrum of plums, red dates to lightly prunish reminding me of cough syrup and "pipa gao" syrup. Still possessing good structure, this wine is quite deceptively burg like. Could prob keep for another 2-4 years. Pretty and mature, this is a charming effort.
